It all started as a plan B
The water source we use was first developed for a bottled water started in the mid 1980’s. The entrepreneurs behind it had a water source with fabulous quality and believed they could lead the market in New Zealand for bottled mineral water. But in the mid 1980’s no-one in New Zealand paid for water! What came from the tap was considered OK, and the venture suffered a disastrous fate.
The search for ways to add value to this high quality artesian water led to the idea behind Ch’i and the rest is (positive) history.
